Allendale Wolf 5.5% - A beautiful red coloured,
full bodied beer taking its name from the famous wolf of Allendale.
With bitterness coming from Challenger hops and a fruity blackcurrant
aroma coming from Williamette hops. At 5.5% abv. this really

Allendale Best Bitter 3.8% - A traditional
amber coloured session beer with a difference. The strong
flavour belies the relatively low alcohol content. A slightly
spicy aroma comes from Goldings and Fuggles hops, with the

Tar Bar’l (colloquialism for Barrel)
Stout is a very dark traditional style stout with a creamy
brown head. Brewed to commemorate the famous Tar Bar’l
celebrations of Allendale when the ‘Guisers’ (long
established men of the village) carry flaming barrels of tar
on their heads before throwing them on a bonfire in the very
centre of the village on New-Year’s eve. The Tar Bar’l
is smooth and rich with coffee and chocolate flavours. Available
in bottle conditioned and cask form. |

Golden Plover 4.0%
- A top quality blonde beer made using only Marris Otter pale
malt to give a light and refreshing clean taste. Moderately
hopped with Challenger and delicate New Zealand Hallertau
hops. This is the perfect easy drinking beer for hot summer

Entrepreneur Ale 4.7%, Golden caramel coloured
premium ale with a delicious fruity and floral aroma. Brewed
to celebrate the head brewer being named the UK?s top young rural
entrepreneur in 2008. Originally brewed as a one off special, but
due to popular demand is now brewed whenever capacity permits.
It is not available in bottles at present. |

Black Grouse Bitter 4.0%
- A Porter style dark beer at 4%. Hints of coffee and chocolate
with an oak aged aroma. The sister brew to Golden Plover,
taking over from Curlew's return for the later part of the
year. |

Curlew's Return 4.2% -
A Classic Brown coloured ale, highly drinkable with moderate
bitterness from target hops, classic goldings aroma and an
exciting citrus floral hop character from a late hopping of
